Donor Advised Funds & Qualified Distributions
​Donor Advised Funds (DAF)
You can make your grant recommendation through your DAF to Hillel House at The University of Mass Amherst, Inc. (dba UMass Hillel) using our Tax ID# 04-3110103.

Required Minimum Distributions & Qualified Charitable Distributions from Your IRA  
If you are 70 1/2+, you may qualify to make IRA distributions (including your Required Minimum Distribution) directly to UMass Hillel, without incurring income tax.  
Please consult your tax advisor to determine if you are eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution and to ensure that your gift to UMass Hillel meets applicable tax requirements.

Corporate Matching Funds
Your gift might be eligible for a match, particularly if you route it through the UMass Amherst Foundation.  If you take advantage of this benefit, please be sure to mark your donation for “The Hillel Fund” and let us know you have initiated this process! It may take more than 2 business weeks for us to receive notification of your gift.
