Candle Lighting Schedule
Sunday 11/28-Thursday 12/2: Menorah lighting at 5:00 p.m. at UMass Hillel
Friday 12/3: Shabbat services at Hillel at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. There will be no official candle lighting, but menorahs will be available for people to light candles on their own!
Saturday 12/4: Candle lighting at 7:00 p.m. at the Mullins Center before the UMass hockey game.

Challah for Hunger
Join the UMass Amherst Chapter of Challah for Hunger for another baking week in the Hillel kitchen! No prior challah-making experience required.

Dough making: Wednesday, December 1st 6:30-8:00p.m.
Braiding/baking: Thursday, December 2nd 6:30-8:30p.m.
Selling in the Student Union: Friday, December 3rd from 10:00a.m.-2:00p.m.

Degel Goes to the Hockey Game
Saturday, December 4th at 8:00 p.m. at Mullins Center
Have you ever wanted to go to the UMass Hockey game with friends? Come join Degel and go to the hockey game with us! Don’t forget your UCard! We will meet after the menorah lighting.

Share Your Shamash
This Hanukkah, we want to take some time to lift up those that have helped us get through this past year. That's why we're inviting you to share your shamash! The shamash is the candle at the center of a menorah that helps light all the rest of the candles. Who or what has helped keep you going this year? Share your story here for a chance to be featured on our Instagram and win a gift card!

Hanukkah Party with JLBE
Monday, December 6th at 7:00 p.m. at Hillel
Join Jewish Leaders in Business and Entrepreneurship for their annual Hanukkah party! There will be latkes, dreidels, games, prizes, and so much more. Everyone is welcome!
