2nd Annual Ride to Provide

The second annual Ride to Provide, a family-friendly bike ride to support the many community service programs and earth-friendly projects of the Hillel House at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, will be held on Sunday, October 19.

Join riders from the Five Colleges and throughout New England on your choice of a 9, 18, or 36 mile bike ride through the fall foliage-lined streets of Amherst, Hadley and Sunderland, with rest stops and snacks at neighboring Sukkah (traditional harvest dwellings). The Ride to Provide will end with a post-ride festival at the UMass Hillel House on North Pleasant Street, Amherst.

Ride to Provide brings the community together to celebrate the season and the spirit of both volunteerism and family in a healthy and positive way, while also supporting the many wonderful service projects performed by the students of UMass Hillel. These students are the future of a more just and healthy world; however, they need your help to fund their efforts of Tikkun Olam, or of “repairing the world.”

We invite you to be a part of this endeavor by riding, volunteering or making a tax-deductible contribution* to “UMass Hillel.” We’re certain that with your help, the Ride to Provide will remain a cherished Valley tradition!
