Mimunah is a North African Jewish Holiday, celebrated by Jews from Morocco, Libya, and Tunesia. It is a celebration full of sweets that began as Jews kept different levels of Kashrut over Passover. This meant they would not visit each other's homes. Once Passover was over, they would open their homes to each other and eat sweet foods to show there were no bad feelings about not hosting over the holiday.
